A little late to the party, but Jason Pominville signed a five-year contract extension with the Minnesota Wild worth $5.6 million per year. Pominville joined the Wild after the 2013 trade deadline when he was sent from the Sabres with a fourth round pick in 2014 in exchange for Johan Larsson, Matt Hackett, and a 2013 first round pick. Pominville is expected to play on the Wild’s first line with Mikko Koivu and Zach Parise.
