10. Nicklas Backstrom: 10/24/13

Little tic-tac-toe with Washington’s top line ends with Nicklas Backstrom taping-in a goal into the empty net. Oilers looked silly and started over committing to each pass and Backstrom went uncovered.

9. Mike Richards: 10/24/13

Goal at the 4:00 mark of the video

After blowing a 4 goal lead to Phoenix, Mike Richards rights the ship by scoring a short handed goal. After stealing the puck from Radim Vrbata, Richards dekes Thomas Greiss for the game winning goal.

8. Brendan Gallagher: 10/22/13

Brendan Gallagher victimizes Ryan Jones of telegraphing his pass. Jones throughs the puck up the middle of the ice in his own zone and Gallagher picks it up and goes top corner with his shot. Its been a brutal start for the Edmonton Oilers.

7. Phil Kessel: 10/22/13

All three of Phil Kessel‘s goals against Anaheim were great, but the one for the top ten list is his first goal of the night. James Van Riemsdyk fed Kessel between the legs of two defensemen.

6. Patrick Kane: 10/24/13

Goal at 1:20

Patrick Kane sure can skate. He displays his speed as he blows past two Tampa Bay defensemen and goes 5-hole on Ben Bishop. Eric Brewer and Andrej Sustr didn’t stand a chance against Kane.

5. Nate Thompson: 10/24/13

Sticking with the same game, Nate Thompson also had a highlight reel goal while Tampa was short handed. After a wide shot from Patrick Sharp, B.J. Crombeen breaks with Thompson the other way. Crombeen passes to Thompson and he shoots over an out stretched Nikolai Khabibulin.

4. Jason Pominville: 10/26/13

After a turn over from Nick Leddy in his own zone, Justin Fontaine draws three Blackhawks over to him. He slides a nice pass to Jason Pominville who beats Corey Crawford.

3. Jeff Petry: 10/22/13

Goal at 1:56 mark

Finally a highlight in favor of the Edmonton Oilers. Jeff Petry makes a great breakout pass to Ryan Nugent-Hopkins who, in turn, sets Petry up for a beautiful goal.

2. Nino Niederreiter: 10/24/13

First highlight in the video

On the power play, Mikael Granlund is able to dig the puck out of the corner and makes a no-look, backhand pass to Nino Niederreiter who scores top corner on Justin Peters.

1. Troy Brouwer: 10/22/13

This goal was an entire line effort. Alex Ovechkin had to battle two Winnipeg Jets to keep the puck in the zone, Backstrom made to beautiful toe drag and dished it over to Troy Brouwer who beat Ondrej Pavelec.
